ABOUT RIDDHI PROTIM LAHIRI

With sixteen years at the intersection of public policy, development strategy, and digital transformation, I’ve dedicated my career to tackling questions that shape our shared future. How do we build cities that are not just livable but self-sustaining engines of innovation? How can digital government and participatory governance bring essential services closer to every citizen? What does it take to ensure equitable access to healthcare? How to scale up MSMEs to make them export ready? How can climate finance truly deliver on its promise? And how do we create pathways for farmers, women, and vulnerable communities to secure dignified and resilient livelihoods?These challenges motivate me every day. They’ve shaped my work advising governments, multilateral donors, and private sector organizations on sector strategies, market entry, policy design, social development frameworks, livelihood programs, access-to-finance models, and monitoring & evaluation systems that actually drive change on the ground.My work has taken me across India and into Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Nepal, each geography adding a new layer of understanding about how people, institutions, and systems evolve.Outside work, I’m deeply shaped by travel and the perspective it brings. I’ve explored India end-to-end and visited many countries, often chasing mountain landscapes, ancient histories, and the quiet clarity that high-altitude trails offer. Photography is a natural extension of that curiosity, something that fuels my creative ambition and keeps me grounded in observation, patience, and storytelling.At the heart of it all, I believe in solutions that are human-centered, scalable, and future-ready. I enjoy connecting with people who value meaningful impact, innovative thinking, and building systems that last.
