Hi, I’m Ridam — a Master’s student in Applied Computer Science with 2+ years of experience building data-driven and ML-adjacent systems in production environments. I work primarily in Python and SQL, with experience designing APIs, data pipelines, and backend services that support model deployment, evaluation, and iteration. I’m comfortable working in cloud-based, agile teams and focus on building systems that are reliable, scalable and ready for real-world use.My recent work has focused on my journey as an AI Engineer, deploying a self-hosted LLM on AWS, integrating it with FastAPI and building hybrid RAG pipelines for high-accuracy retrieval. I’ve also designed fine-tuning pipelines with DPO + QLoRA, curating diverse expert preference datasets and leveraging RLAIF for scalable pair generation with RLHF spot checks. This work produced lightweight, low-VRAM adapters while improving model clarity, correctness, and safety. Alongside this, I developed multi-format ingestion workflows with PHI masking, HIPAA-compliant logging, and prompt-injection safeguards to ensure secure and production-ready deployment.I’m especially passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems — from designing secure, production-ready AI pipelines to scaling data-driven systems.
