   Student Lives Matter is a national movement and nonprofit initiative founded by school security & student success expert, international speaker, author, and leadership expert- Rico Sharp, Rico’s passion is driven by a powerful mission- to end school gun violence, promote safety, and save the lives of students and educators across America. The movement was birthed from a deeply personal moment—Rico received a terrifying phone call that his son’s school was on lockdown due to an active shooter on campus. That life-changing experience sparked a calling to take action, not just for his own child, but for students and teachers everywhere.At Student Lives Matter, we believe no student should have to fear for their life at school, and no teacher should have to risk their life to teach. Our organization provides life-saving curriculum, emotional wellness education, school safety training, anti bullying focus, suicidal address, academic alignment, leadership workshops, and parent/community engagement strategies focused on prevention, intervention, and empowerment.Our sister initiative, Teachers Lives Matter, recognizes that behind every successful student is a dedicated educator. This branch of our mission is dedicated to supporting, training, and empowering teachers through leadership development, mental health advocacy, appreciation events, and equipping schools with tools to retain and uplift their faculty.Together, both movements are creating a culture of care, safety, and excellence in school systems nationwide. Through strategic partnerships, community outreach, curriculum-based solutions, and national speaking tours, Rico Sharp and his team are working every day to bring transformation to campuses across the country.Student Lives Matter.
