Carry out Fault diagnosis/maintenance on 805/807 Fleet. Key responsibilities – • Carry out fault investigation through diagnosis, monitoring, using schematics, fleet monitoring and incidents. • Software loading/Testing. • TDR downloads/system logs with investigation into faults causes/incident reports. • Work alongside Systems engineers and other external agencies to allow a full and efficient passenger service. • Systems tested and rectified include – TMS, GSMR, OTMR, Propulsion, Toilets, Air and vacuum systems, Relays, Switches, Wiring, AC/DC, AWS/TPWS, PIS, HVAC, CCTV, HMI’s, SDO and high voltage systems. • Carryout and co-ordinate work orders to a high level with all work accurately annotated.

I am currently a Lead Technician within the rolling stock industry specialising in electrical and mechanical fault diagnostics on modern train fleets. I am currently responsible for maintenance and fault diagnostics on Hitachi Class 805/807 trains using calibrated tooling, diagnostic laptops, software and wiring schematics to ensure fleet safety, reliability and availability. I have previous experience on Class 730 EMU and CAF Fleet 197 trains during testing, commissioning and maintenance phases. Highly skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical systems from system integration down to circuitry level within fast-paced, safety-critical environments. I am a former Electrical and Avionics Supervisor maintaining Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft across the UK, Saudi Arabia and global operations. Also experienced as an instructor and trainer within RAF, RSAF and BAE Systems international training programmes. I am qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and Avionics Aeronautical Engineering.
