ABOUT RICKY GHAI
An industry veteran with over 40 years experience across the entire media spectrum.Ricky has been involved in some significant projects across global markets. His career started at the BBC where after a 12 year span covering many aspects of broadcast television he moved to commercial television and joined TV3 Sweden and today after 30 years has been fortunate to have experience most business facets from production to marketing, from satellite channels to new media businesses. Ricky has been instrumental in the development of several high profile products and platforms such as BT Vision and was also the launch of the English Premier League online for Abu Dhabi Media where he was also a key figure in the investment in VEVO amongst other JV\'s.His has also acted as a consultant in channel development for Universal Television in Scandinavia and Compliance and Regulatory Advisor to BT Entertainment.He was a board member of VEVO LLC until 2011 and a member of the finance and remuneration committee.Presently working across several projects whilst being Chair and executive director at Plus 1 Communications in the UK and Dubai.
