ABOUT RICKY ALFRED

A purpose-led individual, with many years of experience across all sectors, developing and delivering ESG & Responsible Business strategies for business. Commercially focused and aware to ensure that sustainability is reflected environmentally, socially and economically. My experience has been developed in multiple organisations, industries and sectors taking the best practice from each to shape how I lead the agenda with my roles. Enjoying the challenges and opportunities of bringing strategies to life that impact internationally and working with global teams to deliver. Over the past few years the focus has been on developing and embedding ‘Purpose’ and supporting a singular business strategy that is responsible and purposeful. Outcomes aligned and mapped to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and science-based Net Zero pathways. Successfully delivering for the business, and all internal and external stakeholders. It has been a great pleasure to also lead on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies, ensuring that we create teams, workplaces and supply chains where people can be themselves and thrive. That sense of belonging that helps people to deliver their full potential. Passionate about ensuring that everyone within the business understands the role they play to deliver the positive impact we want, and reduce the negative impacts there may be. Delivering training and learning experiences that enables people to play their part in bringing strategies to life. Having seen and be part of CSR maturing into the wider and fuller responsible business and Purpose-led approach we see today, my aim and personal purpose is to continually make progress towards a sustainable future for all – now, and for future generations.
