Mr. Summitt role is technical manager and lead analyst for specialty areas involving risk, security, or probabilistic methods. He provides vulnerability and physical security support for utilities and installations. His experience spans the range of PRA and has a detailed knowledge of Level 1 and Level 2 assessments. He provides or provided programmatic oversight for large PRA projects such as full scope probabilistic safety assessment which included detailed modeling for both power and shutdown modes evaluating both internal and external initiating events PSA. In this capacity he is responsible for methods development and application along with responding to regulator inquiries and reviews. He is currently technical manager and lead contributor for fire and flooding PRAs. Other recent external events assessments include a simplified seismic PRA. He also support risk informed applications.
