Throughout my career, I have led initiatives aimed at achieving Operational Excellence within the power generation industry.In my current role as Director of Operations for $24B power generation leader Constellation Energy, I lead our 24x7 remote operations/monitoring across the fleet of renewable, gas, oil, and hydro facilities. As we prepare to integrate our $26B acquisition of Calpine, I’m identifying best practices and synergies between our existing and incoming resources. I also serve as our Subject Matter Expert for safety, maintenance, outage/work management, and overall operations, steering the Plant Manager Council and providing governance and oversight for all assets.As Plant Manager for the state-of-the-art 1200MW Colorado Bend II Generating Station operations, I delivered best-in-class results for this 2x1 1200MW combined-cycle gas and steam turbine generation facility. I regularly identified opportunities to improve performance, earning the highest internal performance rating (Top 5%) with KPIs in the Top Quartile including capacity factors in the upper 90s and dispatch match at 98%. I managed $30M in annual capital and operating expenses, aligning our site budget with corporate business objectives to drive profitability.I am most proud of the reputation I have built throughout the Constellation organization, earning the corporate-wide 2024 Purpose and Value Award for Respect, Belonging, Diversity, and Equity from our CEO in recognition of the impacts I have delivered throughout our operations. I continuously champion career progression and employee enrichment through corporate initiatives, serving as a Corporate Talent Advisory Board Member, Business Must Achieve Lead, and Talent Development Council Leader.    Spearhead 24x7 remote operations/monitoring across fleet of renewable, gas, oil, hydro facilities for $24B power generation leader, reporting to VP Fleet Support and overseeing up to 30 direct/indirect reports and overall team of 600+ employees. Introduce best practices across safety, operations, maintenance, and training organizations, directing ISO compliance across sites. Coordinate between power plant operations and portfolio trading teams.• Instrumental to success of $26B+ acquisition of Calpine, analyzing incoming assets, significantly expanding Constellation’s existing gas-powered operations, and establishing best practices across all locations.• Launch special projects as necessary, developing organizational objectives and leading routine performance monitoring, audits, assessments, and corrective actions to drive change and optimize performance.• Form trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders including executive leadership, managing relationships with Corporate Functional Area Managers (CFAMs), regulatory agencies, and advisory groups.• Subject Matter Expert for safety, maintenance, outage/work management, and overall operations, steering Plant Manager Council and providing governance and oversight for all assets.
