   In a nutshell: After transitioning over to Verizon during the acquisition stage I accepted a position responsible for all software packaging and delivery, monthly patching, drivers, BIOS updates, VPro and last line of defense for hardware and software support on a global scale for both Microsoft Windows and Apple machines. Detailed Description: Senior Manager of the Enterprise Software Distribution team in the Digital Workplace/Corporate Engineering organization at Verizon. This team is responsible for maintaining the software distribution, Lab, UAT, and Oracle LDAP Directory Service infrastructures within Verizon that are utilized to distribute all desktop software updates, including critical Security releases. This also includes the SQL inventory database and reporting Infrastructure. The team schedules and manages desktop distributions across the Verizon internal footprint, India and Verizon Wireless Retail Stores utilizing both Marimba and JAMF. The team is also responsible for one of the largest implementations of VPro, several Virtual Desktop environments, the support of an offshore application packaging organization, and serves as a high-level support team for software related issues.
