About Ricky D.

I help innovators get credit and return from their ideas and work. This is often done by counseling and advocating for patents. My core practice has included working on matters related to advancing technology but also to advancing programs. My education is reflective of my interests in that I am still interested in the subject of neuroscience but have gained a deeper affinity towards engineering and computer science. I work pro bono too; e.g., through the Inventor Assistance Program of Minnesota. I am a member of the New York IP Law Association, the Minnesota IP Law Association, the American IP Law Association, and the Minnesota Asian and Pacific American Bar Association. As a sign that I love to keep learning, I will say that I speak three languages and am working to learn more, including programming ones.
