I created The Yar Group to provide thorough organizational and situational assessment and to provide the appropriate talent and resources to give companies and internal teams a leveraged approach when they are ready to aggressively grow. I love the great outdoors. Especially exploring new places. I seek out those individuals with direct experience to gain their insight. To confirm the best routes, best equipment, best timing, best teams. I take the time to prepare and assure the best outcome. Many times, it takes utilizing an experienced guide, with knowledge of, and access to, all of the right resources. My approach to business is really no different. I appreciate companies, and individuals within those companies, who are working so very hard to accomplish great things. Much of the time they are so diligent about working on urgent issues that the important aspects continue to drift or get completely left behind or forgotten. Growth stalls and begins to decline. They have unintentionally gotten off course; sometimes significantly. Or perhaps there is a desire, or need, to grow in a completely new direction. One never before explored. Perhaps with a new concept, new product, or venturing into a completely new market. My experiences have helped me train to be the guide these companies need. My early experience on Wall Street gave me a thorough understanding of research and critical financials. I left Wall Street and have since worked with manufacturers. I moved into sales, marketing, and product development roles. I gained corporate account, distribution, regulatory, and reimbursement experience with medical device manufacturers and hospitals. My operational expertise came from managing the turnarounds of circuit board manufacturing, contract manufacturing, medical device start-ups, early stage, and existing medical device companies. I have started successful companies and have managed within firms on the way to $1 billion in revenue. My favorites are in the $10 to $200 million range. I have been most fortunate to have gained extensive direct experiences in go-to-market, manufacturing, and financial endeavors. I now work with a growing team of content experts who help companies to achieve all that they should.
