   I am responsible for reviewing and analyzing detailed, complex, data center technology and translating it into comprehensive sales enablement. The data center is always evolving and more focus is being applied to how automation and management tools can make the experience more cloud like. As customers continue to move workloads to the public cloud, there will always be applications which cannot make the journey. Things like GDPR, Data Gravity, and Data entanglement will keep those applications out of the public cloud for a long time. Customers will need to keep some form of data center. This is where private and hybrid data centers, whether on premises or located in a Co-Lo, become paramount for continued success.In my role, I develop the information necessary for Aruba Data Center field sales to understand these challenges and how to position solutions, and sell into this environment. I believe automation will play a huge role in removing a lot of the day to day care and feeding tasks (VLAN changes, Firmware updates, etc, etc) freeing up customers to focus on more important issues. I will certainly be leveraging my years of API development, it\'s always served me well in my past endeavours.
