   Lucky Lefty is a vertically integrated production studio founded during an industry shift in which brands were relying less on massive, slow moving agencies and more on nimble content creators with expertise in Social Media. Beyond commercials, we produce Independent Films and Music Videos.Daily responsibilities require both business and creative decision making in numerous disciplines: client acquisition, development and relations, strategy, producing six-figure budgets, writing, directing film crews and actor performances, camera operation, drone piloting, and underwater video capture. We also are focused on seeing projects through their final delivery and offer post-production services like editing, color correction, audio engineering, and the recording of film scores.We are designed to be on the road. Our first contract was capturing social media content in Prague for Mail Chimp, we then spent the summer solstice in Sweden filming new a technology from Google that helps people living with dementia. In Chicago, we interviewed Architects as they explained the design philosophy behind the monumental Starbucks Reserve.The most physical of productions was on a reef in the Florida Keys, 35 feet below the surface with scientists documenting algae growth. Another was capturing vertical video of the worlds greatest soccer player in Barcelona. We flew a drone through a volcanic canyon in Iceland for a travel company before being returning home to run around the streets of Soho with Sheck Wes for Nike.December 2018 saw the start of writing and producing Sugar Water, a documentary feature which explains the history of the Everglades and the anthropogenic factors leading to its degradation. Over 21 shooting days and two years of production we conducted interviews with government agencies, local businesses, farmers, residents, and scientists for a candid and cinematic explanation to a complex environmental issue.Clients: Don Julio, Adidas, Starbucks
