The principles of learning are the same regardless of industry, it\'s the methods and the paradigm of each industry that differs. Knowing these differences is key to creating training that works. Whether corporate, public safety, non-profit, military, etc, how people learn doesn\'t change. What changes are the methods used to develop learning products and programs that best meet the needs of different industries.Everyone posts what they have done and who they are in this space, let me tell you what I want to do.My favorite thing to do is analyze and design projects, programs, teams, and capabilities from a systems and strategic view. I want to consult with organizations, learning teams, and individuals to provide them with efficient and successful processes, skills, and knowledge.I enjoy evaluating training programs and results, seeking data and evidence for efficacy, then writing reports and providing presentations on the results.I want to build or develop teams of learning professionals. Either help them become more successful or build them from scratch.I want to take training programs, analyze them, fix them, and implement them, then make sure they are doing what they are supposed to.I want to train, develop, and mentor people into instructional designers. My favorite people to bring into the learning industry are artists, first responders, and teachers. However, I believe anyone with innate curiosity can do the job.I enjoy talking about learning, learning about learning, and then sharing what I learned.I want to work on training projects that I care about with people who want it done well, correctly, and efficiently. I don\'t want to be involved with \"do more with less.\" All that means is over work, underpay, underperform.I want to change how things are done. Reform doesn\'t come through training, it comes from training design and then presentation. If training is designed poorly, instructors can only do som much to develop participants.I don\'t care about the industry, I have worked in many. Learning principles are the same in any industry, it\'s the methods that may be different - that\'s where the difference lies.I want to eat my favorite ice cream: dark chocolate ice cream with raspberries and brownie bites.
