ABOUT RICKI HASTINGS
Principal Engineer working at eBay in the KnownOrigin Labs R&D division. Working as part of the team responsible for delivering eBay\'s Web3 capabilities. Before eBay I worked at Peak AI in Manchester for nearly 3 years. I joined Peak in January 2020, until late 2021 I was working on solutions that are part of the Customer Intelligence suite in our Connected Decision Intelligence platform. I work with an array of different technologies in these solutions (many different AWS services, Node.js, Golang, Kubernetes, Postgres, Druid, React, GraphQL). Since then I\'ve been part of the Platform team, mostly working on projects that improve the Developer Experience for Engineers working on the platform. Before working at Peak I worked at Degree53 as part of the Sharp Gaming project where I was the Lead Frontend Developer in a team of around 20 frontend developers. I was mainly working on frontend technologies such as React, Redux, TypeScript, Webpack etc and was responsible for the overall architecture of the frontend solution for an enterprise white label product.
