About Rick Huang
With over 26 years of engineering management and software development experience, I am an ex-Director of Software Engineering at Symbotic, a leading provider of innovative AI robotics systems for warehouse automation. I have led a global team of energetic engineers who design, develop, and deliver state-of-the-art solutions that optimize palletization, storage, and retrieval of inventory for warehouse industries and customers.I have extensive hands-on experience with embedded systems, firmware, RTOS, and robotics technologies, as well as a solid understanding of the FDA compliance process and medical device standards. I have successfully led geographically distributed teams in Ukraine, and India, using agile methodologies to foster collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction. I have also built and maintained strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, vendors, and clients, ensuring alignment of goals, expectations, and deliverables. My mission is to leverage my technical and leadership expertise to create cutting-edge AI robotics solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
