About Rick Helms

I graduated in December 2015 with an AAS in Business Management after previously completing a Marketing Degree from Fox Valley Technical College, as well as a degree in Meeting and Event Management from FVTC. My passion is fundraising, organizing groups of people, and helping others, which these degrees will help me to learn better ways to improve my skills. Experience

1. Waterfest Supervisor

   Oshkosh Chamber

   May 2014 — Present

   To coordinate the Waterfest concert series at the Leach Amphitheatre in Oshkosh. This involves coordinating with vendors for order quantities, pricing, and deliveries. Working with local non-profit groups to provide 120 person volunteer staff to efficiently run concession stands, control parking lots, and gate attendants. Scheduling set-up and take-down of events and product to control inventory levels to ensure accurate accounting. Also coordinating schedules with venue staff as it is a shared venue and is used for other events in between the Waterfest concerts.
