Hello, I\'m Rickey Richardson and I\'m seeking an entry level Cybersecurity Specialist. I am currently a Fullstack Academy Cybersecurity Mentor where I help students learn how to use and implement basic cybersecurity tools within Linux and Windows machines. I also participate in introducing students to the Python programming language and teach select reconnaissance tools, such as Wireshark, Splunk, and Metasploit, to lend more expertise toward red team training. As a graduate of the Emory Cyber Bootcamp Powered by Fullstack Academy, I take an empathetic approach to working with students to help them achieve learning outcomes in both the classroom setting and during 1:1 virtual office hours. Fullstack Mentors are recommended for these highly selective positions by their in-program instructors who also work in the field. After being recommended, Mentors participate in a rigorous technical interview process in order to obtain the role. Because I am passionate about technology and want to continue building my cybersecurity skillset, I have obtained the following certifications: CompTIA Security+(April 2022) Emory Cyber Bootcamp (October 2021) Splunk 7.x Fundamentals (August 2021) I\'m also active on TryHackMe where I\'ve completed the Networking Nerd Badge; I\'m currently working in the CompTIA PenTest+ room. I also complete CyberLab cybersecurity challenges successfully prior to students engaging with the platform.
