About Rickey Zachary
For more than 15 years I have worked across the public and private sector designing and developing large scale mission critical software systems. I have had the opportunity to work for highly secure government agencies and extremely early stage startup; both provide unique and interesting challenges that have helped shaped my career. Currently I have the amazing opportunity to work at Thoughtworks and have been focusing on helping digital scale-ups and startups to identify and alleviate bottlenecks and areas of friction on there path to growth. I have been working with clients in multiple domains and have been primarily focusing on Architecture, Developer Effectiveness, Engineering Platforms, and Organizational Transformation with these clients.In addition to helping scale ups I am also investing energy into helping software developers overcome day to day friction and increase productivity. I have been really interested in three areas measuring developer productivity holistically; identifying common friction areas; and increasing developer productivity through the development of developer platforms.
