About Rick Petersen

I have over 48 years\' experience in the telecommunications Industry. The \"first 20\" years of my career afforded me “hands on” experience in all aspects of a family-owned independent Telephone Company, including the initial rollout of cellular and the Internet. The \"second 22\" were focused on delivering broadband and value-added services to rural markets through a CLEC (Casco Communications and PEAK Internet), owned by a Telephone and Electric Cooperative. The \"third tour\"(5 years) CLEC operations were wholly owned by Consumers Power, Inc. We successfully secured CARES funding, Reconnect 2 funding from USDA, BDP funding from ARPA, and (2) BEAD awards.For my \"fourth tour\" I have joined the amazing team at Alyrica Networks and will be leveraging my skill sets to develop new business and find broadband solutions for enterprise clients.
