Richard T. Balog, CPA\\CFF, CIA, CGFM, DACFE is the Managing Partner of the Certified Public Accounting firm of Balog + Tamburri, LLC. As Managing Partner, he serves as Audit Partner in-charge of the audit and forensic accounting practices of the firm. Mr. Balog brings over 40 years of hands-on accounting, tax planning and preparation, audit and business development experience to the Firm’s expanding client base. Mr. Balog served as Executive Office Partner for KPMG prior to forrming The ARC Consulting Group, Inc, which he ran profitably until he sold it in 2010, when he formed his current CPA firm. Mr. Balog successfully established KPMG’s Executive Education Department. Mr. Balog was responsible for the overall administration of the Firm’s client training programs. Mr. Balog is a contributing author and past contributing editor for Internal Auditing Journal and Cost Management Digest. He has written more than 100 professional development programs for various professional associations and educational foundations. He is listed in Who\'s Who in the East, Who\'s Who in American Education, Who\'s Who in American Finance and Industry, Who\'s Who in America, and Who\'s Who In The World. Mr. Balog is a Charter Member of The Institute for Financial Crime Prevention, and the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Balog is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), A Distinguished Member of the American Collage of Forensic Examiners (DACFE), and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Maryland (CPA), The U.S. Virgin Islands, and Florida. He holds a Certified in Financial Forensics certificate (CFF) by the AICPA. Mr. Balog is an Eagle Scout and Scoutmaster of Troop 330, BSA.
