ABOUT RICK METZBOWER
I have acquired a depth of experience and demonstrated an aptitude for innovation working on complex and cross-functional projects. My objective is to apply my knowledge and understanding of mechanical and systems engineering and managing engineering project teams to bring to market advanced systems and products. In concert with this aim a focus of mine is to lead a group of individual technical contributors and form them into an integrated group focused on strategic objectives. In doing this in the recent past I have had the pleasure of developing engineers and technicians into contributing objective focused members of the group.My experience includes producing requirements and specs based on customer requirements and discussions and the functional specs and requirements for the various subsystems and parts. Also, in the past I have developed processes needed to demonstrate reliability and system qualification. In these positions, ranging from Lead Mechanical Engineer to Technical Director, I have presented progress and status to customers and sponsors, generated requirements documents, systems specifications, test specs and plans and system designs and analyses.
