About Rick Wiseman
A career in technology from a novice coder in 1982 to a leader in Business Development for the largest HP distributor in US, to IVI Publishing to help launch interactive software titles for the Mayo Clinic, ESPN Sports Health and Fitness and Time-Life\'s Health Sciences catalogue. Secured landmark distribution agreements to move these software titles into Barnes & Noble, Border\'s and Little Professor bookstore chains. Our start-up team took IVI public on NASDAQ. The company was acquired by one of the first Internet giants, America Online (AOL). In 1996, I led Everest Technologies growth from $900K to $7.5 million in annual revenue in 3 years. Experience also in brokering of voice, data, Internet and cloud services, including AWS and Azure at Master Dealer Telecom Brokers. Wanting to return to the more creative side of tech: software, I co-founded The Shepherd Company, LLC to build a mobile platform for family caregivers. Member, Thoroughbred Thought Leaders.
