ABOUT RICK STEWART
I have been involved in the Accounting field since 1992 when I began my formal training and received my CMA (CPA) in During this time I have collected experience with: Non Profit Accounting, Construction, Human Resources, Information Technology, Property Management, Hotels, Film Production, Fund Accounting, General Administration. In 2005 I joined St. John Ambulance Alberta Council for several reasons including my birthday is on international St. John Day. I enjoy the non-profit / charity world as I can make decisions because they are right, not because my only objective is to maximize profits. I believe that working for people and humanity is a noble objective that fills my life with meaning. In 2007 our family started a Healthy Vending Products business and successfully lobbied the Edmonton Public School Board to remove \"junk food\" vending from schools. Subsequently we have merged with a traditional vending company and operated as Option Group Vending until 2023. In 2017 I became involved with Silverayne Productions and we have completed a few film projects that you can find on Amazon. I\'m currently working on a project with The Edmonton Stingers to help organize volunteers and fundraising for our own local CEBL team.
