About Rick Smith
Over 15 years in higher ed at four institutions (FAU, UTSA, UIW and Marietta College). My experience at these great institutions were/are second-to-none, and allowed me to think strategically and be innovative, engage audiences and improve attendance at events, teach and develop students in the classroom and outside the classroom as an adviser to student organizations, and increase and expand the brand recognition of the institution(s). I also enjoyed/enjoy working with various departments to build consensus on projects, and especially enjoy developing students and young professionals into effective leaders as they enter the sports industry.At Shoflo, I am a customer support specialist / trainer / consultant with game presentation software (rundowns). This is perhaps more than a hobby - it\'s a passion. Game presentation is at the heart of a great experience for fans; and I bring that same mentality to the classroom when teaching to keep students actively engaged in learning.
