Directs the Seattle Public Library’s Institutional and Strategic Advancement Division, which synchronizes the strategic engagement activities of the Library to build interest in and support for the Library’s work. • Oversees a wide array of corporate level functions, including media relations, publicity, marketing, internal communications, the website, social media, strategic partnerships, government relations, and public disclosure. • Serves a lead role in planning long term corporate strategy and financial sustainability, and establishing system-wide operational policies.• Jointly led development of $219 million Library levy package approved by 76 percent of Seattle voters.• Created the Library\'s first ever Strategic Direction policy document to guide operations and services. • Secured significant state and city funding for needed facility improvements ($1.74 million for air-conditioning upgrades and $1.89 million for renovation of the Green Lake Branch Library).• Supervised the 20-person Security team for a year; managing its response to pandemic impacts and social protests.• Drafted the Library\'s system-wide emergency response plan.• Serves as a trustee for the City of Seattle\'s $1.8 billion 457(b) deferred compensation plan.
