ABOUT RICK SCAVETTA
I’m an enthusiastic biologist and data scientist with over 17 years of experience in research, consulting and training.Operating as Scavetta Academy since 2018, I\'ve developed and hosted workshops on data communication, understanding and applications to researchers around the world. This passion has been aided by collaborations with online platforms including DataCamp, O\'Reilly Live Online Training and Manning Publications.I’m really excited about two recent on-going collaborations.First, is the release of a book I co-authored, “Python & R for the Modern Data Scientist”, to be published this O’Reilly Media.(Can you guess why our cover animal is the Colossal Squid?).Second, is the content curation & development for an online Data Science Immersive course exclusively for job-seekers in Saudi Arabia. I’ll also be the primary trainer of this 12-week, bootcamp-style course which was commissioned by the Misk Foundation.
