As a shameless self-promoter my mystery novel, with over ten years of development, was finally published two months ago. “103 Pilgrims” set in Plymouth, Massachusetts is part historical fiction with a twist and part contemporary murder mystery. Its characters play out their roles in 1620 on the Mayflower and 400 years later in 2020 Plymouth. The reader follows Plymouth’s unlicensed, unbonded and uninsured private “advisor”, Tony Tempesta, along with his on again, off again love interest, Susan Phoenix and a life-long bulwark protector, Mike Kennedy, through Plymouth’s streets, alleys and local haunts to discover cryptic clues to a secret the original Pilgrims and today’s clandestine Pilgrim Foundation will do anything to keep buried. The novel coordinates with this years’ 400-year celebration of the landing of the Pilgrims in Plymouth.
