About Rick Mitacek
Responsible for purchasing, allocation, and disposition of Delta’s fleet of more than pieces of ground support equipment. I work with an amazing team that strives to provide the safest and most ergonomic pieces of equipment to the operation which ensures our customers have a seamless transition to the air. My team also has oversight and development of the first GSE electrification strategy which supports Delta’s commitment to becoming a carbon neutral airline. I previously worked as the Director of Operations for Delta Global Services- Technical Services, Where we provided project-based aircraft maintenance and AOG support for outside airlines and MRO facilities. I have a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University, majoring in Business and minoring in Political Science. In 2020 I obtained an associates degree in Aircraft Maintenance from the Community College of the Air Force. In 2021 I received my Airframe and Powerplant Rating and am working through my MBA at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
