I lead Tissue Acquisition Engineering, an AI-accelerated, AWS-native team modernizing Natera’s tissue operations. My group owns several greenfield initiatives:• AI Automation for Tissue Operations — Building automation that streamlines tissue intake, routing, validation, and lab readiness, reducing manual ops load and improving turnaround times.• Natera Connect Pathology (External) — Developing a new enterprise web application for pathology labs to submit, track, and manage tissue orders. Fully integrated with Natera’s AWS platform (Step Functions, Lambda, DynamoDB, Kafka, NateraHub services).• Next-Generation Tissue Order Management (Internal) — Delivering the new workflow engine inside NateraHub that provides Tissue Ops with scalable sample tracking, lifecycle visibility, and operational coordination.Across these initiatives, I drive engineering execution, system architecture, cross-functional alignment, and AI-augmented developer workflows—improving reliability, operational efficiency, and user experience across Natera’s oncology pipeline.
