ABOUT RICK LUCERO
I have 30 years of experience in the Electric Distribution Industry. My apprenticeship was through the Department of Labor for the occupation of Lineman. This was a four year program that consisted of a broad view of troubleshooting during electrical storms, new construction of overhead and underground construction, working high line on various transmission voltages, along with residential and commercial services.My specialty is having been a crew leader for more than half my career. I know how to keep everybody safe, how to motivate those around me along with them all being team members. I have not forgotten where I have come from working in the heat, the cold, the dangers of the job and how important a good solid training program is that El Paso Electric Company has offered with IBEW 960 all in as a Team.Currently my title is an overhead supervisor. In my free time I love playing racquetball 3 times a week, golfing, hunting and team roping. I do all this so I can eat enchiladas and drink beer on the weekends and just so I can keep up with whatever challenges my two boys and my daughter might think they can beat me at.If you Love what your doing, you\'ll never work a day in your Life.
