Rick Lemaster is the senior regional director, Global Business Development for the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Israel. He manages in-country teams in the region and the pursuit of foreign military sales and direct commercial contract opportunities across the entirety of Boeing’s defense, space and government services portfolios.Lemaster had previously served as director, V-22 tiltrotor Global Sales and Marketing and Bell-Boeing Joint Program business development lead, responsible for extending V-22 Osprey aircraft production and developing domestic and international sales opportunities. He was also the lead for commercial derivative rotorcraft opportunities, including the MH-139, which won the U.S. Air Force UH-1N Replacement competition in September 2018. Lemaster also led the Sikorsky-Boeing Defiant aircraft offering for the Joint Multi-Role Technology Demonstrator competition, which evolved into the FLRAA competition for the U.S. Army. Earlier, he was the director of Unmanned Airborne Systems, responsible for Boeing’s unmanned vertical lift products, including the A160 Hummingbird.Lemaster played a key role winning the KC-46 Pegasus tanker competition as the proposal program manager and director of the systems engineering integration team. As the HH-47 program manager, his team submitted the winning bid for the U.S. Air Force’s Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR-X) platform. Lemaster served as program manager for the new build of ten Combat Talon II C-130 aircraft at Fort Walton Beach, Fla.Before joining Boeing in March 2003, Lemaster retired as a career acquisition officer in the USAF, working special operations and joint service acquisition programs such as cruise missiles, electronic warfare systems, cyber C4I systems, training and simulation systems, and CV-22 Osprey requirements.Lemaster holds a BS degree in chemistry from Duke University and a MS degree in systems management from the Air Force Institute of Technology at WPAFB OH
