Fifty years of accomplishment as a computer scientist, professor, R&D executive, board member and venture investor working at leading universities, high technology companies and venture capital firms. Currently serving on several Boards of Directors and helping to launch companies in the Sun Valley region. Former partner at OVP Venture Partners, VP of Advanced Technology at Apple Computer, SVP of R&D/CTO at Borland International, VP of R&D at Silicon Graphics, R&D Director at Sun Microsystems and Tektronix, co-founder of a venture incubator in San Diego, executive director of the von Liebig Center for Entrepreneurism at UCSD, director of Technology New Ventures at the University of Washington Center for Commercialization, CS Professor at Rutgers University.
