As one of RSM’s health care industry senior analysts, my job is to understand, forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends shaping the businesses we serve. Responsible for thought leadership development for the health care industry. Lead audit teams of three to twenty professional auditors on financial statement audits of hospital systems, health insurance companies, and private equity backed companies with healthcare related business ventures. Provide support on SSAE 16 SOC engagements for third party administrators and insurance companies. Prepare and respond to requests for proposals from prospective and current clients. Create, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective clients and centers of influence. Assist various directors and members of RSM\'s national office in preparation and delivery of white papers, practice aids, and CPE on a variety of topics. Assist in the implementation and ongoing support of RSM\'s paperless audit software. Co-leader of the Central Region\'s Family First employee network group with RSM\'s Cultural Diversity and Inclusion initiative. Member of RSM\'s Netherlands Desk team. Specialties: Healthcare revenue and receivable accounting. Auditing the fair value of alternative investments. Statutory accounting for insurance companies. Assistance with municipal public debt offerings. Designated as an Internal Control and Caseware Specialist by RSM.
