Canine Angels Service Dogs is a nonprofit dedicated to serving disabled veterans and first responders in the coastal Carolina region. We rescue dogs from shelters and train them to become certified service dogs to assist those to whom we owe our freedom and safety. Our Angels perform tasks to mitigate physical challenges and ease psychological suffering to help veterans resume meaningful lives. PTSD has taken the lives of twice as many veterans who have returned home than have died in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.
