Rick Higgins was the associate dean at Columbia Biblical Seminary & School of Missions. From 1976 to 1981 Rick was a naval flight officer, serving as a mission commander. He achieved ranking as a top one percent officer, selected for early promotion. He left the Navy because he sensed God calling him into His service. From 19••••84 he was an assistant professor at the University of South Carolina, teaching leadership and navigation in the Department of Naval Science. He was nominated as NROTC instructor of the year. Dr. Higgins and his wife, Jeanne, have three children and four beautiful grandchildren
