About Rick Clonan

I enjoy leading large and small teams on the journey from their current state toward best practices. Identifying gaps and coaching teams to perform better through problem-solving and new process engineering is a passion of mine. Regardless of whether the goal is to simply improve CMMS utilization or imagine a new work flow process to provide cost tracking information, I enjoy the journey and interaction with the people I work with. Maintenance does not have to be difficult. I have received my RMIC certification from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and I am a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional. I am Certified as a Machinery Lubrication Technician Level 1 (MLT1), a Level 1 Certified Thermographer, I maintain a current membership with the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP), I serve as the local chapter (Middle TN) Treasurer, I am currently serving as the Chair for the SMRP Best Practices Committee, and have previously served on the SMRP Conference Committee and Body of Knowledge Committee. I have received my RMIC certification from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. I have worked in several facilities in different roles in Maintenance from Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Planner and Scheduler, CMMS Administrator, Maintenance Supervisor, and Reliability Supervisor. I enjoy finding the root cause of problems and fixing them at that level. I serve as the volunteer coordinator for the BEST Robotics program in Nashville managing 30+ volunteers.
