SharePoint Engineering Tech Lead responsible for the architecture, implementation, problem resolution/support and deployment of all SharePoint Infrastructure at New York Life. Specified and delivered the SharePoint 2013 Infrastructure for the Knowledge Management initiative. This included Powershell scripting of the SharePoint Farm build used to automate the build out of the development, staging and production farms. Architected and deployed Office Web Apps, WorkFlow Manager, Provider Hosted Apps, Yammer and User Profiles. Lead the migrations of MOSS 2007 sites and applications to SharePoint 2010. Directed consulting resources in performing database attach upgrades, user migrations for NTLM to Claims Authentication, as well as code and 3rd party application remediation and upgrades. Engineered and built the SharePoint 2010 Infrastructure for Corporate Teams, Projects and Applications. Designed and configured Claims Authentication with SiteMinder and Ping Federate and developed custom User Profile synchronization with Sun One Directory LDAP. Managed the build and support of the SharePoint 2010 Infrastructure for Agency Teams and Custom Applications. Reviewed and managed releases and changes. Launched the first SharePoint Application at NYL the MOSS 2007 Automated Spreadsheet Controls application. This included hardware and software architecture design and acquisition, project management, and documentation. Engineered, planned and successfully oversaw many post production major releases that incurred minimal down time and positive customer reactions. Managed the work of development consultants to see that business requirements were being delivered. Worked on diverse Internet technologies at NYL prior to fully focusing on SharePoint. Provided engineering, architecture and support for IIS and Sun One Web servers, Vignette Content Management System, Google Search Appliance, WebSphere Middleware and Applications on both Windows and UNIX platforms
