About Rich Chambers

Throughout his career, Rich is a proven people leader with a focus on the integrity of business operations. He is first passionate about people—their development, opportunities, and education. From the time he was an engineer at Fujitsu working on the development of devices we know as “self-checkout” to managing a team of highly skilled engineers, Rich has always been interested in helping others succeed in their roles. He leverages his network for others while acknowledging the many people who pulled then pushed him over the years. He has mentored many as direct reports, colleagues, and within the technology industry. He understands the need for diversity of skillsets, experiences, and people.Rich’s work in the community includes churches in the Charlotte area, technical organizations such as CITPG, and meetings with area technical leaders to discuss challenges across organizations.He is an avid reader. A few favorite books: “The Hard Thing about Hard Things,” “First, Break All the Rules,” and “The Power of Story.” There are many others Rich routinely shares with colleagues and mentees.A few personal items:He believes there is no luck. There is only preparation, time and chance. Hence, the commitment to being a “lifetime learner.” Relentlessly serving others with no expectation of reward is paramount for personal wellness.His motivation starts at home where he has three daughters and his Terrier mix Princess Leia.
