I co-created, in a marriage of the practices of psychology and medicine, a proprietary algorithm using psychometric testing in conjunction with cloud-based software that tests a prospective patient, about to undergo a medical procedure, to ensure that the patient has the competence, cognition, and understanding of the treatment disclosure information provided by the medical practitioner, to make an informed medical decision. The result of this process invention is a web-based platform that not only delivers the medical informed consent material, but confirms that the patient understands the consent material.
