Sported is the UK’s largest Sport for Development charity.Sported is a membership organisation that provides support to community and grassroots clubs that improve the lives of disadvantaged young people through sport.To help disadvantaged young people, aged 11-25 years old, fulfil their true potential in life, Sported supports a variety of inspirational clubs and projects that deliver engaging Sport for Development programmes. Sported works with these community groups to build capacity, improve effectiveness and make more sustainable, in order that its members can help more young people for longer. The charity does this through the provision of business mentors; tailored information; targeted training and development; and access to fundraising resources, networking and cost-saving opportunities.Sported recognises that every community is unique and the issues and problems affecting each one are different.
