Leading the Cloud Services Department at YouView is a huge honour. We build and maintain the cloud based services powering one of the largest connected digital TV platforms in the UK, deployed by BT and TalkTalk amongst others. Our micro-service based architecture powers some of the richest content discovery, personalisation, data capture and analysis features available in the market. We strive to constantly evolve using best practice and the latest technologies to maintain competitive advantage. We are big believers in the public cloud and the advantages this can bring, constantly evaluating each of the major players in this area.My team are also responsible for the end to end delivery of our services meaning we operate in a “DevSecOps” way ensuring the full platform is monitored 24/7 and reacting to issues at any time.
