ABOUT ANN M. RICHARDSON

I’ve spent more than three decades leading hospitals, medical groups, and health systems through operational, financial, and strategic transformation — from the boardroom to the bedside. My career has been shaped by deep partnerships with physicians, nurses, care teams, and executive leaders working to improve how healthcare is delivered in increasingly complex environments. From surgical services and perioperative operations to physician practice management, patient throughput, and system strategy, I’ve lived the realities health systems face every day. Today, I serve as VP of Strategic Partnerships at Frontive Health, where I work with healthcare organizations focused on improving patient navigation of surgical, procedural, and longitudinal care pathways outside hospital walls. Frontive delivers physician-directed patient guidance, education, and care navigation that helps patients stay connected to their care plans before, during, and after treatment. The platform supports healthcare organizations by improving patient preparedness, strengthening continuity of care, reducing operational burden on care teams, and enhancing the patient experience across the episode of care. What drew me to Frontive was simple: it is the type of solution I would have wanted to support the care teams and operations I led inside health systems. My work sits at the intersection of healthcare technology, operations, finance, and strategy — helping organizations translate innovation into meaningful operational and clinical value. I’m particularly passionate about supporting solutions that augment care teams, improve communication, strengthen patient engagement, and help healthcare organizations navigate the increasing demands on quality, outcomes, workforce pressures, and financial performance. Throughout my career, colleagues and clients have described me as a strategic partner, trusted connector, systems thinker, and steady voice in complex environments. Healthcare transformation requires more than technology. It requires operational credibility, trust, execution, and leadership that understands the human side of medicine. If your organization is focused on improving care delivery, patient navigation, operational performance, and the experience of both patients and care teams, let’s connect.
