ABOUT RICHARD SARMIENTO

Richard Sarmiento is a Managing Director at Stanton Chase, based in Washington, D.C. He leads executive search engagements across the aerospace, defense, and government services sectors, serving clients ranging from private equity-backed ventures and publicly traded corporations to mission-driven nonprofit organizations.With a proven track record of placing transformative leaders—including CEOs, presidents, general managers, and senior executives across finance, operations, supply chain, sales, marketing, engineering, strategy, and corporate development—Richard brings a strategic and mission-focused approach to talent acquisition.A former Armor/Cavalry Officer and veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Richard began his career in the U.S. Army before transitioning into executive search.
