ABOUT RICHARD PENNEY

I have 25 years experience in Facilities and Project Management and have developed a wide range of skills. Focussed on delivering and exceeding shareholder and stakeholder expectations and ensuring FM is seen as a key driver within the organisation. My key areas of expertise include, but are not limited to the following;• Day to day running of a diverse estates portfolio. This includes 199 retail, warehouse and admin buildings including HQ site (825 occupants) in Central London with senior management occupancy. • Budget management, with responsibility for £5m per annum and contribute to the overall property bid (£18m).• Managing Capital and Maintenance projects ranging from £5k to £3.5m.• Managing both internal and external hard and soft contractors - reception, security, cleaning and residential engineers.• Management of sub contractors and visitors.• Assets capture and change management processes applied and audited.• Health and Safety legislation is interpreted and implemented, ensuring a compliant Estate is maintained. • Developing relationships, as a people focused person, within the organisation to delivering against business objectives and key targets. I promote improvement activities to assist achieving value for money solutions and highlighting business opportunities. Project management within both industrial and retail environment. • I am comfortable working independently or in a team environment. I have managed front line staff and Consultants.
