Royal Navy exchange officer with the USN attached to the USS North Dakota. Qualified submarines, Officer of the Deck and Engineering Officer of the Watch (S9G) with significant deployed operational and engineering maintenance experience. After graduating from Newcastle University with a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering I immediately began work with the Royal Navy as a trainee Marine Engineering Officer. Upon completion of the Royal Navy training pipeline I was selected for the USN Personnel Exchange Programme to complete the USN nuclear power training and serve as a Junior Officer on a Virginia Class submarine.
