Richard Lindquist is a Managing Director and Head of VEA Field Coverage at Morgan Stanley. Rick earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and his Bachelor of Science in Business from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.​A native of Minneapolis, MN, Rick began his career in financial services at Dean Witter in 1996 where he started as an Intern before becoming a Financial Advisor. Since 2003, Rick has held a succession of sales and leadership roles including Regional Vice President, Heartland District Sales Manager, Heartland Region Regional Business Development Manager, St. Louis Complex Manager, St. Louis Sub-Complex Manager, and Central Region Sales Manager. In 2020, Rick formed a national team of elite sales, coaching and training professionals to deliver an intensive coaching and training program for Financial Advisors, teams and support professionals who aspired to modernize, strengthen, and grow their business. In his current assignment, Rick leads the Virtual Engagement Associate Desk providing dedicated infrastructure and support to Advisors and Teams across a variety of strategically important disciplines including digital marketing and communication, financial planning, cash management and the execution of complex products and services.​Rick is the President of the Independent Women’s Traumatic Brain Injury Charity and is currently serving his fifth term on the Board of Directors for The Foundation at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri where he gives back through his support of Cancer Research and Hospice and Palliative Care. Rick is also a retired accomplished NCAA Baseball Umpire and a former Golden Gloves boxer.​Rick currently resides in New Canaan, CT with his wife Mary Margaret, their children RJ and Priscilla.
