About Richard Lenz

I have been in the audio field for over 30 years. I began my career after college as a live sound engineer for artists such as Sammy Davis, Jr, Frank Sinatra, Nancy Wilson, The Temptations and many others. In the 1980\'s I owned the largest, locally owned, sound, lighting and staging company in Las Vegas and traveled the world doing concert work. In 1991 I also began the Huntridge Theater project. This 1940\'s movie theater is in the neighborhood in which I grew up and was at risk of demise. I redesigned it and opened it in early 1992 as a concert theater. It was the most popular concert venue in Las Vegas for over 10 years. I left in 2002 to pursue other interests. The Huntridge still stands although it is now closed. In 2005 my wife and I moved to Utah and in 2008 opened RealAcoustix. Having tired of the limited acoustic tools available to acousticians, including myself, I felt we could improve the market. We have received wide recognition for our products from both acousticians and clients alike. We continue to push the envelope of acoustic devices and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Utah.

Our products are designed for both commercial and residential applications including studio, post-production, theaters, music and live event facilities. We also specialize in products for the worship and home theater markets.
