Provides day-to-day support and management of the company\'s IT operations and technology infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to;• Manage day-to-day operations through best practice• Managing information technology risks• Management of Infrastructure projects delivery • Projects from evaluation, conception and completion• Network infrastructure services• Firewall administration, Web and Application control rules and policies.• Cyber Essentials accreditation• Endpoint Protection• Active Directory domain upgrades / schema upgrades• Windows Server 2012R2 to 2022 deployments and support• Remote Desktop Services • Windows Cluster services• Maintain a stable production environment, ensure capacity and scalability.• Writing best practice policies and procedures for areas such as backup methods, patch management, anti-virus and malware protection• Perform regular technology supplier reviews for areas such as hardware maintenance, software maintenance and network provider.• Business continuity / disaster recovery leader responsible for network, server and desktop recovery• Drive operational and support improvements through in-depth knowledge of supported product capabilities and managed service operations• Drive robust and timely remediation of high severity incidents to prevent the same or similar future occurrences• Manage the introduction of new IT services into the business• Continually look for ways to improve the quality of the service provided and the efficiency• Management of Infrastructure team – direct, control, motivate and mentor staff to assist development and system awareness; incorporating performance management, staff development / training, recruitment and resource planning• Prioritizing and assigning tasks to team members.• IT decision making
