Appointed as a Senior Advisor on Financial Services for this economics consultancy. • Secured and led various projects on payments issues – a new practice area for CEPA. This included a major project validating how charging should work for the UK’s new cheque imaging system. • Built and developed the team, bringing in new highly-skilled team members to diversify and improve the team’s offering including a new lawyer, economist and accountant. • Supported the development of the reputation of the team ensuring all members where up to date and fully understood new regulations and issues that would impact their work. This contributed to securing a position on the tender list for economic and accounting jobs with major clients including the FCA, the Payment Systems Regulator and the Bank of England.
